Patrick Lose is a Fabric Designer extraordinaire. He spends his days dreaming up fun and whimsical art that is usually printed onto fabric. Patrick makes his home in Arizona and laughingly told me he spends some of the hottest days during the long and brutal summer overseeing the launching of his various holiday and wintry collections of fabrics and patterns.
After our chat I went to his website and was delighted by the bright vibrant colors and whimsical characters that he is known for. It was interesting viewing his work, some has been turned into bolts of fabric while others are still in the design phase. All are fun, brightly colored and some are even funny.
He has been designing for decades and started out as a costume designer. Over the years he has created many different collections for various manufacturers. He also has recently launched a book and continues to make and design patterns for holiday projects. He is a delightful soul, filled with a bright shining light and overflowing with creativity.
At Mary Jo's Cloth Store we carry his line of fabric "Marble Mania" from Timeless Treasures. He also has a new collection of fabric distributed from Robert Kaufman. Patrick is a busy designer he has holiday fabric collections, a book and patterns available.
